What happened to the old page?
The original page was lost to a failed backup. The new host is pretty awesome about backups and testing those too. The site needed a revamp anyway.
This is a work in progress
This site is managed by a volunteer. Please be kind. Hosting is done via a very inexpensive webhost to save property owner's money from dues spent on more important things. This means the site should have a high uptime but there may be situations that cause for the site to be updated / taken down in order to provide more updated information.

Dues
Dues (What are they good for? Absolutely EVERYTHING!)
The fiscal year of the HOA is January-December. Our yearly dues of $180 needs to follow with our fiscal year. Dues are due on the first day of January each year and are considered late on February 1st. Late fee is $30. We accept a multitude of methods of payment ( Venmo, Paypal and Check). All online methods of payment require an additional fee of 2.9% . The amount we receive after fee's MUST BE $180.00 ) If mailing a check, please note new address to mail it to.

Q&A
What is the purpose of the HOA/POA?
A. The purpose of the Association shall be to maintain and protect the common areas within the subdivision, said common areas including, but not limited to, the private roads and shoulders thereof, the entrance fence, detention ponds, drainage easements, cul de sacs and street lights and other electrical apparatus related thereto.
B. To protect the owners of each lot against improper use of surrounding lots as will depreciate the value of the property.
C. To preserve, as far as practicable, the natural beauty of each lot.
D. To insure the creation of attractive, well designed, properly proportioned and appropriate homes of suitable materials with appropriate location on said lots.
E. Insure proper building setbacks from the street and lot lines.
F. To provide adequate free space between structures.
G. In general, to assure the best and most appropriate development and improvements of the subdivision and each lot thereof.
Can we spend the money that’s left over on parties or social gatherings? – No, this goes against the Covenants and Bylaws of the HOA and would be considered misappropriation of funds.
I want to serve on the board / run for office. What are the requirements and when is the deadline to apply? – The only requirement is that you are a homeowner in good standing with the HOA.
I want to know where every penny is spent. How do I get financial records / minutes from meetings? – Please email us (contactus @ newmanhoa.com)
What are my fees paying for? – A lot! (specifically : Street lights / Common Area Lawn Care & Improvements / Website Hosting / Postage / Maintenance of the canal and wetlands
