What is the purpose of the HOA/POA?

A. The purpose of the Association shall be to maintain and protect the common areas within the subdivision, said common areas including, but not limited to, the private roads and shoulders thereof, the entrance fence, detention ponds, drainage easements, cul de sacs and street lights and other electrical apparatus related thereto. 

B. To protect the owners of each lot against improper use of surrounding lots as will depreciate the value of the property. 

C. To preserve, as far as practicable, the natural beauty of each lot. 

D. To insure the creation of attractive, well designed, properly proportioned and appropriate homes of suitable materials with appropriate location on said lots. 

E. Insure proper building setbacks from the street and lot lines. 

F. To provide adequate free space between structures. 

G. In general, to assure the best and most appropriate development and improvements of the subdivision and each lot thereof.

Can we spend the money that’s left over on parties or social gatherings? – No, this goes against the Covenants and Bylaws of the HOA and would be considered misappropriation of funds. 

I want to serve on the board / run for office. What are the requirements and when is the deadline to apply? – The only requirement is that you are a homeowner in good standing with the HOA.

What are my fees paying for? – A lot! (specifically : Street lights / Common Area Lawn Care & Improvements / Website Hosting / Postage / Maintenance of the canal and wetlands
